I work mainly as a video editor since 2011. At that time I’ve finished my master degree at Cinema and Audiovisual from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Escola das Artes. “Artur”, the final work from my master degree, won the competition TakeOne! at Festival de Curtas de Vila do Conde. Before, in 2010, I wrote, directed and edited my first short film “Um Dia Passei o Dia a Rir”, which was possible with the support of a program called ZonScriptLab. Here I had the chance to have an intensive course of two months about writing, producing and directing at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2012 I started my professional internship in Academia RTP, where I produced and edit the full-length documentary “Habitat” of Patrícia Brásia and produced the TV cultural magazine “Mau Maria” of Maria Gralheiro. I was then invited to work as a video editor on “Sete Letras” a full-length documentary of Sandra Carneiro and Rui Cacilhas and in 2013 I had the opportunity to work as a video editing assistant for the feature film “Eclipse em Portugal” of Alexandre Valente. I stayed the next two years in Barcelona where I worked with Uma Ysamat in her artistic creation, “Catàstoples”. In 2015 I returned to Oporto and started working at Conservatório Vocare, where I was responsible for the creation and management of all the audiovisual content. This collaboration ended in 2017. At the same time, I also start a partnership with the company Videológica, where I work as a video editor, camera operator and live video director. In 2016 I was also a technical director for the reality show “Big Brother Xtremo” from Endemol Shine Africa for three months in Johannesburg, South Africa. From 2017 to 2020 I worked as a video producer for a new platform called SMACK, a news digital publication.

In present days I look to continue developing audiovisual content, be it as a video editor, motion designer or as an audiovisual producer.
